My rightful survival

so as a woman, as a citizen of Delhi and as a human being everyday i have to fight for my rightful survival...

#1- have started traveling by  metro (new office being in Delhi) metro travel is painless but what hurts the most physically and mentally is the auto hiring (a) they don't use the meter, after so many chances given to them to be fair they just don't (b) they have a lobby with a fixed price point, they don't budge from that (c) they refuse to go to your destination for their own good reasons, and in the morning if you try taking an auto from a crowded station, you HAVE to share. Evening, they just refuse to go because they want to save themselves from the traffic.

#2- so to save myself from this hassle today in a good mood i decided to drive down. oh! wasn't a good decision for the amount of traffic and red lights i had to stop to. But music was a good save. Now, i stopped at a nearby petrol pump to get the car fuelled. First the attendant heard 300 instead of 1000 and i don't understand how they do it, but he filled gasoline worth 300 rs, i had sensed the fishiness already. Then he apologized and filled the rest of the fuel.
i moved and after a mile I realized, i have been cheated, had to cross two red lights, take a u turn to go back to the fuel station and express my concern. Very coolly he accepted the mistake and said sorry. SORRY is a very good word. i asked him to call the manager but he said sorry again and requested me to save him from getting fired. Damn Indians are good with sympathetic-like, emotions both at the giving and the receiving end. i let it go. (a) He was 17 years old (b) he was nice to me (if i leave the cheating-me-case out). Imagine if they cheat 10 customers on an average daily for an average amount of rs 200. An attendant earns 2000 rs. everyday by unfair means.

many more such things happen daily.  And we feel helpless sometimes and give in to it. But best is raise it.  You never know you might start a new revolution.
