Amateur Poetry Series #1

A Sinless Joy!!!

In simplicity lies serenity,
In chasteness lies beauty,
The calmness of the sky made me wonder,
Why are we so afraid of silence?

It’s so beautiful sitting by the corner of the road,
Seeing people come and go,
The stars waving hi and the moon passing by,
I never felt the way I did.

Thank you for everything,
For the sane and the insane things,
For the evening full of placidity, the night sated with gratification,
I felt the peace like never before.

The sweetness of partaking, the fragrance of innocence,
I enjoyed to the core, with all my heart and all my soul,
The way you reckoned me;
And deciphered my utters.

All I could think was, “what a silent suffer!”
The waves of pain got lower;
The demented life became so sober,
Oh! It was so good to be alone but together in that crowded place.

A delicious dessert and a delightful treat,
I can never bring it back nor can I make it that sweet,
The moments are momentous, they pass away,
But memories are sublime, as they always stay.
